How It Works

Four steps from first entry
to a scannable sample record.

The entire workflow fits in under five minutes. No training required.

01

Create Sample

Enter the fabric sample details using a structured form. Set the design number (or let SampleLedger auto-generate one), fill in the blend composition, construction specs, and dimensions.

  • Auto-generated or manual design numbers
  • Structured blend entry (warp/weft materials and ratios)
  • EPI/PPI, GSM, GLM, width fields
  • Organisation-specific master dropdowns
02

Add Color Variants

Each sample can have multiple color variants. Add variants with color name and shade. Each variant gets its own unique MPN — auto-generated by default.

  • Unlimited color variants per sample
  • Unique MPN per variant
  • Variety count tracked automatically
  • Soft-delete variants without losing history
03

Generate Sticker

Select a sample or variant and generate a print-ready sticker. The sticker includes all key specs and a QR code that links to the public detail page.

  • Fixed template with all key textile specs
  • QR code embedded on every sticker
  • Browser-print and PDF download
  • Organisation logo on the sticker
04

Scan & Share

Attach the sticker to a physical sample. Anyone can scan the QR code with any smartphone to see the current specs — no login, no app, no account needed.

  • Public detail page — no login required
  • Shows design number, blend, dimensions, and more
  • Always reflects the latest data
  • Works on any device with a camera
